Watch Works like Radar to Tell Time
Sci-fi movies taking the viewers into the virtual world have been a great source of inspiration for designers and artists. Bringing the scanning devices, used in sci-fi movies for scanning targets, to the real world, German designer Sam has come up with a series of watches, i.e. radar, sonar and scanner, which lit up three-targets on the dial to show time.
Integrating a button to display blue, green and red lights, depicting sonar, radar and scanner respectively, the analog watch also features three dots to represent the hour, minute and second hands. The Special Force Watch also presents a weak radial grid that interprets the target position in an effective manner. Users need to press the button to activate the animation that lights up the targets to show time.
